IMPORTANT rules and regulations

  • If you rent an apartment, it is your responsibility to agree with the host that he/she MUST provide the migration registration document for you WITHIN 5 DAYS upon checking-in.
  • The migration registration MUST be made at the ACTUAL apartment address.
  • Your first migration registration will be issued upon your first-entry visa and correspondingly will be valid for 3 months.
  • Upon the visa extension, the migration registration MUST be extended in accordance with the extended visa period.
  • If you leave Russia for any period of time, your current migration registration becomes invalid. Thus, you are required to get a new migration registration document from the host within 5 days upon coming back to Russia.
  • If you travel to other Russian cities for any period of time and live in the hotel or hostel, your current migration registration becomes invalid (as the hotel or hostel registers you automatically). So before you leave the hotel or hostel, be sure to receive the migration registration document from the hotel/hostel administration. Upon your coming back to St. Petersburg, you should submit this migration registration document to the host because the new migration registration at the ACTUAL apartment address is required.
  • If you travel to other Russian cities for less than 7 working days and live at the rented apartment or at your friends' place, your current registration stays valid and you do not need to do anything upon your coming back to St. Petersburg.

BY CHOOSING THIS OPTION, I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREE TO THE AFOREMENTIONED RULES AND REGULATIONS
