ITMO University Internationalization Department
All these issues fall into the competency of ITMO University’s Internationalization Department.
The Department was created to support and implement ITMO’s strategic plans for international development, promotion and reputation establishment among the world-leading universities.
Its initiatives and projects follow directions of development: external and internal.
Internal development is aimed at creating a comfortable English-speaking environment and information support of international projects and events of ITMO University in all its activities.
A comfortable English-language environment allows staff, instructors and students of the University to participate in international projects both abroad and as part of ITMO’s own projects. Foreign students and specialists can quickly dive into projects and programs of the University.
External development is aimed at strengthening ITMO’s reputation as an international university in scientific, student and expert circles, in the media and on the web.

The Internationalization Office is a subdivision of the Internationalization Department of the Institute of International Development and Partnership that also incorporates the Editorial Office of the University’s English news website ITMO.NEWS. The primary objective of the Internationalization Office’s comprehensive range of activities is to strengthen ITMO University’s reputation and position worldwide, as well as to promote its cutting-edge educational services and innovative research on the international arena.See More

The International Faculty Support Office helps foreign science officers and teachers enter jobs at ITMO University and meet all the requirements of the migration legislation of the Russian Federation.See More
Academic Writing Lab
The AWL’s mission is to help undergraduate and postgraduate students, researchers, faculty and staff with any academic writing challenges they face at any stage of the writing process.See More
