Study Abroad at Home

Want to come to ITMO for an exchange, but are afraid to take a leap into the big unknown? Don’t worry – ITMO’s international students are assisted each step of the way, including through a variety of student support programs operating at the university.

Study Abroad at Home is one of these programs. Within its framework, international students from all over the world (your future classmates come from France, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, Finland, Mexico, Czech Republic and lots of other countries!) study side by side with their Russian counterparts, seeing each other through exams and assignments and experiencing the joys of the learning process together.

Other advantages of Study Abroad at Home include:

  • teaching is done in English, including by native speakers;
  • modular system of learning;
  • official certificate at the end of the program.

But this isn’t all for the program’s perks! To make the learning process as effective as possible, each course is practice-oriented, which means that students will be offered to work on their projects and bring their ideas to life.

The fall 2020 semester’s curriculum includes:

  • Intercultural Communication
  • Innovation Systems: Russian Federation Development
  • Project Management

Here is the full list with all the descriptions.
