ITMO’s Center for Science Communication aims to establish an open and transparent communication between ITMO scientists and lecturers, media and society. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide accurate and credible information about the work of ITMO researchers, as well as their recent scientific breakthroughs;

  • Provide opportunities for communicating with ITMO scientists and researchers;

  • Deal with consulting, research, and educational projects in the field of science communication;

  • Implement Russia's first Master’s program in science communication as well as a Master’s program in public health sciences. 

  • Hold educational programs and events for scientists and anyone wishing to gain a deeper understanding of the role of science communication in creating a favorable environment for sustainable scientific and technological progress.
