ITMO University’s internationalization office is looking for a creative and responsible person who can create video content for promoting the university internationally. If you like to work on interesting projects with a dynamic team, and you are good at planning, filming and editing unique video content for a diverse multicultural audience, then we invite you to work in our friendly team.

Key responsibilities:

• Shooting and editing videos;
• Working with ITMO’s team on ideas and themes for the videos.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience with shooting films, working with sound and editing;
• Experience with producing professional video content for social media;
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe AI, PS, Corel Draw or similar programs;
• Knowledge of frame composition;
• Understanding the features of modern video content production and video editing trends;
• Creative thinking, takes initiative;
• Willingness to accept constructive feedback;
• English language knowledge at B2 level: need to be comfortable working with English speakers and English-language content.

Bonus skills we’d love to see:

• Chroma key compositing skills;
• Studio light placement skills;
• Animation/motion design skills.

Equipment:

• Equipment is not provided. We expect you to bring everything necessary for filming, audio, and lighting. Please include in your cover letter what equipment you have available.

• An independent contractor agreement;
• Payment will be discussed individually with successful candidates;

Preference will be given to applicants who provide a portfolio/examples of previous video work (at least 2 or 3) that they have done and a cover letter explaining why they love video and what they could bring to the role.
